Hey y’all!

So we’ve acclimated and returned to semi-normal since returning from our UK jaunt, and that’s good news. However, this is no time to get comfortable, because this happens just in time to start up the party all over again. Uhhh Ohhh. Here’s our busy ass week :

Friday March 11 - We join forces with the mighty Slobberbone again! Talk about a party! The last get-together was way too much fun... Here are the details : Sons of Hermann Hall - Dallas, TX - Friday March 11 - Slobberbone (11 PM), The O’s (10 PM), and Whiskey Folk Ramblers (9 PM). Woaahhhhh! If you’ve never been to Sons, put it on the bucket list and mark it off when you come tomorrow. The place is legendary, pure greatness. Enjoy Jo’s heavy handed drinks - they’re delish AND accompanied by her unmatched charm!

Saturday March 12 - Dallas’ greatest day - The St. Patrick’s Day parade and celebration. This is gonna be a wild, wild, wild, ride. It is crazy and leaves most amateurs in the dust. Good luck.

Sunday March 13 - Day of respite.

Monday March 14 - The O’s will head up to Oklahoma City to play a show with our buddies, 500 Miles to Memphis. Party? Yes. Good times? Certainly. Lower Drinky content? Not such a bad thing sometimes. We’ll be at The Blue Note. See you there!

Tuesday March 15 - Day of respite.

Wednesday March 16 - Early - 8:30 PM - John will play a solo acoustic show at La Grange with 500 Miles to Memphis, Lusitania, and Jonathan Jeter.

Thursday March 17 - SXSW begins. If you didn’t remember The O’s last experience at SXSW, read about it HERE. We had last year off when we were in France. But now it’s back down to biz with 4 shows in 2 days. Here we go again... 3:00 PM we’ll be at Doc’s Motorworks on S. Congress for a Day Party (Details coming soon.) Then, over to Stephen F’s (in the Hotel Intercontinental) at 9:00 PM for our Official SXSW Showcase. (Plus, they’ve got valet parking! Boom!) After the show, get loose.

Friday March 18 - Overtone/Rahr Beer Day Party @ J. Blacks. We’re on at 1:30 PM. This place has delish food and great bloodies. See you there. Then, it’s back to Doc’s Motorworks at 6:00 PM for the KDGE Local Show Day Party.

There are too many great bands to list that we’re sharing bills with at SXSW. We’re very excited. See you there folks!

Saturday March 19 - The Texas Music Revolution. This is one GIANT event. We are VERY honored to be included in the line-up with Robert Earl Keen, Old 97’s, Foster and Lloyd, Deadman, Somebody’s Darling, and many more. Ticket’s are on sale HERE.

Sunday March 20 - Day of drying out and respite.

One more day of rest before this begins. Wish us luck.
